''Scúp'' (; "Scoop (news), Scoop") is a Northern Ireland, Northern Irish Dramatic programming, drama television series which was broadcast on TG4 and BBC Northern Ireland in 2013–14. The series was nominated to the ''Special Irish Language Award'' at the 11th Irish Film & Television Awards in 2014. Colin Bateman
Colin Bateman (known Mononymous person, mononymously as Bateman) is a novelist, screenwriter and former journalist from Bangor, County Down, Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. Biography Born on 13 June 1962, Bateman attended Bangor Grammar School leaving at 16 when he was hired by Annie Roycroft to join the ''County Down Spectator'' as a "cub" reporter, then columnist and deputy editor. A collection of his columns was published as ''Bar Stool Boy'' in 1989. Bateman has been writing novels since his debut, ''Divorcing Jack (novel), Divorcing Jack'', in 1994. ''Divorcing Jack'' won a Betty Trask Award in the same year and was adapted into a Divorcing Jack (film), 1998 film starring David Thewlis. Several of Bateman's novels featured the semi-autobiographical Belfast journalist, Dan Starkey. Don Wycherley (born 15 September 1967, Skibbereen, County Cork) is an Irish actor. Kelly Gough
Kelly Gough is an Irish actress, known for her role as Kate Kelly in the RTÉ series ''Raw''. From 2019 to 2020, she appeared in the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'' as Violette Spark. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video.
