Scouting In Turkmenistan
There is no formal Scouting organization yet in Turkmenistan, due to the Politics of Turkmenistan, political situation and because Turkmenistan refuses to join any organization because of its "status of Neutrality Arch, permanent neutrality," which was accepted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 12, 1995. The only widespread outreach activities for Turkmen children between ages 8-14 are 10 to 14 day Summer camp, camps that do not provide any educational components but organize some Culture of Turkmenistan, cultural events like concerts, poems and Competitive dance, dance competitions. Kirkuk
Kirkuk ( ar, كركوك, ku, کەرکووک, translit=Kerkûk, , tr, Kerkük) is a city in Iraq, serving as the capital of the Kirkuk Governorate, located north of Baghdad. The city is home to a diverse population of Turkmens, Arabs, Kurds, and Assyrians. Kirkuk sits on the ruins of the original Kirkuk Citadel which sits near the Khasa River. Kirkuk was proclaimed the "capital of Iraqi culture" in 2010. It is claimed by the Kurdistan Regional Government as its capital. Scouting in Uzbekistan was founded in , and is working toward World Organization of the Scout Movement recognition. In 1998, Scouting was limited to two Scout troops with a total of 15 members. Scouting in Kyrgyzstan was founded in November 1994 and is not yet a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, but is working toward WOSM recognition. Kyrgyzstan has multiple Scout associations, several of which are members of ''Kyrgyz Respublikasynyn Skaut Kengesh'' (''Кыргыз Республикасынын Скаут Кеңеш''), the Kyrgyz Republic Scouting Union. The fleur-de-lis, also spelled fleur-de-lys (plural ''fleurs-de-lis'' or ''fleurs-de-lys''), is a lily (in French, and mean 'flower' and 'lily' respectively) that is used as a decorative design or symbol.
