Scottish Schools Curling Championship
The Scottish Schools Curling Championship is an annual curling competition held to determine the best school curling team in Scotland. The current champions are Kelso High School, who defeated a team from St. Joseph's College in the final on 10 March 2019. Ayr Curling Club
Ayr (; sco, Ayr; gd, Inbhir Àir, "Mouth of the River Ayr") is a town situated on the southwest coast of Scotland. It is the administrative centre of the South Ayrshire council area and the historic county town of Ayrshire. Perth High School
Perth High School is a six-year, non-denominational comprehensive secondary school in Perth, Scotland. Established in 1950 at Gowans Terrace in a post-war prefabricated structure of a type that had not previously been used for any large school in Scotland. The school relocated to its present location in 1971, two years after the opening in 1969 of the adjacent Oakbank Primary School. It stands in extensive grounds occupying a position on a hill overlooking Oakbank Road and Viewlands Road West. Craig Wilson (curler)
Craig Wilson (born 14 September 1973 in Dumfries) is a Scottish curler from Dunblane. In 1993, Wilson won the World Junior Curling Championships for his Scotland team over Michel Ferland of Canada. However, the following year he would finish 5th. Wilson wouldn't return to an international event until 2003 when he played third for David Murdoch and won a gold medal at the European Curling Championships. At the 2005 Ford World Men's Curling Championship, Wilson would win a silver medal with Murdoch as they lost to Canada's Randy Ferbey team in the final. Marr College
Marr College (Scottish Gaelic: ''Colaiste Mhàrr'') is a co-educational secondary school in Troon, South Ayrshire, Scotland. It is owned by the Marr Trust and is operated by South Ayrshire Council which was transferred to then Strathclyde Regional Council in 1975, with South Ayrshire Council being responsible for providing the educational provisional provided by the school. The school was gifted to the town of Troon by Charles Kerr Marr. Throughout 2016-2017, it underwent extensive restoration works including a new build extending on from the original school building. Millburn Academy (Gaelic: ''Acadamaidh Allt a' Mhuilinn'') is a six-year secondary school in Inverness, Scotland. It serves the portion of Inverness east of the River Ness along with rural areas to the south of the city's reach, with a catchment area that includes the primary schools of Crown, Daviot, Drakies, Inshes, Raigmore and Strathdearn. Kirkcaldy High School is a 6-year co-educational comprehensive state school in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. History The school was established in 1582 as Kirkcaldy Burgh School; the "High School" name dates from the middle part of the 19th century. The school's motto is ''Usque conabor'', "I will strive to my utmost". The High School was originally on St Brycedale Avenue and part of the old building is now incorporated into Kirkcaldy College.
