Scott Wilson (musician)
Scott Wilson (born November 25, 1972) is an American musician, songwriter, and music producer from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is most known for his time as the bass guitarist for the rock band Tantric, having appeared on their 2014 album ''Blue Room Archives'' and '' Mercury Retrograde'' in 2018, and for being the director of jazz studies at the University of Florida. Scott is now the bass guitarist of Saving Abel and has completed the band's fifth studio album. Career Tantric (2013–2017) Wilson served as the bass guitarist for Tantric beginning in 2013, appearing with them on multiple national tours, the band's 2014 album Blue Room Archives, and on Mercury Retrograde in 2018. ''Mercury Retrograde'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Tantric, released on October 5, 2018. The lead single, "Letting Go", was released on July 26, 2018. Background and recording Starting in the spring of 2015 the group revealed they were already recording new music to follow up 2014's Blue Room Archives. During the summer of 2015 and throughout 2016 the band released unreleased songs on their Reverbnation page titled "I Can't Feel", "Fool" and "Nowhere" these tracks were later revealed by lead vocalist Hugo Ferreira that they were just experiments to test new sounds and go back to an older style Tantric sound and see how the fans reacted. Trapt is an American rock band formed in Los Gatos, California. ''37 Channels'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Tantric, released on September 17, 2013 via Pavement Entertainment. Background and recording On August 8, 2013 via Pavement Entertainment, it was announced that Tantric would be releasing their fifth studio album titled ''37 Channels'' on September 17, 2013. Lead singer Hugo Ferreira remained the only sole member of the band during the album's recording. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Steven Noel Wariner (born December 25, 1954) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Initially a backing musician for Dottie West, he also worked with Bob Luman and Chet Atkins before beginning a solo career in the late 1970s.
