Scott Hiley
Scott Patrick Hiley (born 27 September 1968) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He notably had brief spells in the Premier League playing for both Manchester City and Southampton, but spent the majority of his career in the Football League with Exeter City where he played over 330 times in the league over two separate spells. He also played professionally for Birmingham City, Portsmouth and later moved into non-league football with Crawley Town, Tiverton Town and Cullompton Rangers. He was a key part of Exeter's Fourth Division-winning side of 1989–90, and in 1993 he followed manager Terry Cooper to Birmingham City. Plymouth
Plymouth () is a port city and unitary authority in South West England. It is located on the south coast of Devon, approximately south-west of Exeter and south-west of London. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). 1992–93 Football League
The 1992–93 season was the 94th completed season of the Football League. This season saw the birth of the Premier League. In 1992, all of the First Division clubs resigned from the Football League and, on 27 May 1992, the FA Premier League was formed as a limited company, which worked out of an office at the Football Association’s then headquarters, Lancaster Gate. Hence, the 104-year-old Football League was reduced from four divisions to three, with the old Second, Third and Fourth Divisions becoming the new First, Second and Third Divisions respectively. Clyst St Mary
Clyst St Mary is a small village and civil parish east of Exeter on the main roads to Exmouth and Sidmouth in East Devon. The name comes from the Celtic word clyst meaning 'clear stream'. The village is a major part of the electoral ward of Clyst Valley. At the 2011 Census this ward population was 2,326. Martyn Rogers
Martyn Rogers (born 7 March 1955) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender and now as a manager for Tiverton Town. Career Rogers was born in Bristol. His playing career included spells at Exeter City and Bristol City. In 1992, he was appointed player-manager of non-league Tiverton Town where he remained as manager until 21 May 2010 having tendered his resignation on 18 May 2010. Tiverton Town Football Club are an English football club based in Tiverton, Devon. The club are currently members of the and play at Ladysmead. History The club was established in 1913 as Tiverton Athletic, and initially played at the Athletic Ground. They joined the East Devon League, winning the Senior Division in 1924–25, 1925–26, 1926–27 and 1927–28. They then joined the North Devon League, winning it in 1931–32, after which they transferred to the Exeter & District League, which they won in 1933–34. St James Park is a football stadium in Exeter and is the home of Exeter City FC. The stadium is served by the St James Park railway station, which is right next to the ground (the line runs behind the grandstand).
