Scott Henry (golfer)
Scott Henry (born 20 January 1987) is a Scottish professional golfer. He won the 2012 Kazakhstan Open on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Henry had a successful junior career winning a number of Scottish boys titles and playing in the Jacques Léglise Trophy in 2004 and 2005, captaining the Great Britain & Ireland team on the latter occasion. He won the Scottish Stroke Play Championship in 2006. He turned professional in 2007. Professional career Henry played on the Challenge Tour in 2009 with little success. He returned to the tour in 2012, winning his first title at the Kazakhstan Open. He finished 11th in the Order of Merit to gain a place on the European Tour for 2013. His best finish in 2013 was joint fourth in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles and from 2014 to 2016 he played mainly on the Challenge Tour. Open De France
The Open de France is a European Tour golf tournament. Inaugurated in 1906 it is the oldest national open in Continental Europe and has been part of the European Tour's schedule since the tour's inception in 1972. The 100th edition of the event was held in 2016. The 2022 edition will take place between 22 and 25 September on the Golf National course. There will be €3 million of prize fund. Last edition played was the 2019 tournament, won by Nicolas Colsaerts. Originally played at La Boulie, the tournament has been hosted by many different venues, but since 1991, it has been held at the Le Golf National near Paris every year except for 1999 and 2001. Since the turn of the millennium, the Fédération Française de Golf has made a concerted effort to enhance the stature of the event. Ladies European Tour
The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors. The tour is run by a Board of Directors and a Players' Council. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. 2014 European Tour
The 2014 European Tour was the sixth edition of the Race to Dubai and the 43rd season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. The schedule comprised 49 tournaments counting for the Race to Dubai, including the four major championships and four World Golf Championships, and concluded with four Final Series events culminating at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai at the end of November. Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy won the Race to Dubai for the second time, having won two majors, a WGC and the European Tour's flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship, during the season. Roland A. Steiner (December 1839 - January 12, 1906) was a physician, planter, folklorist, and amateur archaeologist who resided in Georgia for most of his life. His archaeological pursuits in Georgia are his most prominent lifetime achievement. He also made significant contributions in the nascent disciplines of cultural anthropology and folklore. Daniel Brooks (born 5 January 1987) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour, having previously played on the European Tour and PGA EuroPro Tour. Professional career Brooks turned professional in 2007 and spent his first three years as a professional playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour. In 2009, Brooks recorded his first and only win on the PGA EuroPro Tour at the Sureshot GPS International Open at Bovey Castle. The Madeira Islands Open was a men's professional golf tournament on the European Tour played from 1993 to 2015 on Madeira, an autonomous region of Portugal.
