2014 Challenge Tour
The 2014 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2014 season. Challenge Tour Rankings ''For full rankings, see 2014 Challenge Tour graduates.'' The rankings were based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Euros. The top 15 players on the tour earned status to play on the 2015 European Tour. Benjamin Hébert
Benjamin Hébert (born 19 February 1987) is a French professional golfer. Early life Hébert was born in Brive, France. His parents are Jean-Luc, a former pentathlete, and Françoise, a former swimmer, both of whom now work as teachers. He also has one sister, Audrey. Hébert spent some of his childhood in Tahiti, from age 14 to 18, before graduating from high school in 2005. Amateur career Hébert enjoyed a successful amateur career. He spent three years on the French national team, the highlight being representing his country at the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy. He won a number of individual tournaments, the most notable being the European Amateur in 2007, which gained him entry to the following year's Open Championship. He also represented Europe in the St Andrews Trophy. Professional career Hébert turned professional in 2009. Oliver James Farr (born 25 March 1988) is a Welsh professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour. Professional career Farr played on mini-tours after turning professional. He finished first on the 2013 PGA EuroPro Tour Order of Merit to earn his Challenge Tour card for 2014. He won the Turkish Airlines Challenge in May 2014. He finished the season 10th in the Order of Merit to earn a place on the European Tour for 2015.
