Benjamin Hébert
Benjamin Hébert (born 19 February 1987) is a French professional golfer. Early life Hébert was born in Brive, France. His parents are Jean-Luc, a former pentathlete, and Françoise, a former swimmer, both of whom now work as teachers. He also has one sister, Audrey. Hébert spent some of his childhood in Tahiti, from age 14 to 18, before graduating from high school in 2005. Amateur career Hébert enjoyed a successful amateur career. He spent three years on the French national team, the highlight being representing his country at the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy. He won a number of individual tournaments, the most notable being the European Amateur in 2007, which gained him entry to the following year's Open Championship. Brive
Brive-la-Gaillarde (; Limousin dialect of oc, Briva la Galharda) is a commune of France. It is a sub-prefecture and the largest city of the Corrèze department. It has around 46,000 inhabitants, while the population of the agglomeration was 75,579 in 2019. Although it is by far the biggest commune in Corrèze, the capital is Tulle. Rolex Trophy
The Rolex Trophy was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, that is played in Geneva, Switzerland. It was played annually on the Challenge Tour since 1989. Unlike many Challenge Tour events, the Rolex Trophy has been played at the same venue, the Golf Club de Genève, every year. It is a limited field Pro-Am event. It used to feature the top 32 in the tour rankings plus four invitees, but the number of players has more recently been 42. One unusual feature was that only the prize money of the top 20 players counted towards their Challenge Tour rankings, although all entrants receive prize money. Bernd Wiesberger
Bernd Klaus Wiesberger (; born 8 October 1985) is an Austrian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the LIV Golf Invitational Series. He finished the 2019 season in third place on the Race to Dubai standings, his best finish to date. In July 2015, when he won the Alstom Open de France, Wiesberger became the most successful Austrian golfer on the European Tour with three tour victories. He has since extended his record and is an eight-time winner on the European Tour. He also played in the 2021 Ryder Cup. Amateur career Wiesberger was born in Vienna. The Genesis Scottish Open is a professional golf tournament in Scotland, and is one of five tournaments that are part of the Rolex Series, which identifies it as one of the European Tour's premier events. It has been played on various courses, but in recent years it has been played on a links course, appealing to players who wish to gain experience before the Open, which takes place in the following week. Since 1987 it has, together with John Deere Classic, been the last chance to qualify for The Open. It has been part of the Open Qualifying Series since that series started in 2014. Mikko Korhonen
Mikko Korhonen (born 23 July 1980) is a Finnish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. He won the 2018 Shot Clock Masters and the 2019 Volvo China Open. Professional career Korhonen turned professional at the late age of 24, and spent the initial part of his career on the third-tier Nordic League tour. In 2006 he stepped up to the Challenge Tour, where he enjoyed five productive seasons, never winning but never finishing worse than 73rd in the final standings. At the end of 2010, Korhonen progressed to the European Tour for the first time via qualifying school, but failed to retain his card for 2011. Korhonen returned to the Challenge Tour in 2012. The Volvo China Open is a men's golf tournament that has been held annually in China since 1995. The event is organised by the China Golf Association and has been co-sanctioned by the European Tour since 2004. It has also featured as part of the Asian Tour, the OneAsia Tour, the China Tour and the Asia Golf Circuit. The Belgian Open (name owned by the Royal Belgian Golf Federation) is a men's golf tournament which has been played intermittently from 1910 to 2000. All editions since 1978 have been part of the European Tour.
