Scott Gairdner
Scott Gairdner (born 1985) is an American comedy writer, director, and podcaster, known for having created the Comedy Central animated series ''Moonbeam City'', for promoting the cult phenomenon of ''The Room'', alongside filmmaker Michael Rousselet, and for co-creating and co-hosting the theme park podcast ''Podcast: The Ride'' since 2017. He created Tiny Fuppets. He is married to Erin Pade and has one child with her. Career After studying film production at Loyola Marymount University, Gairdner began his career by uploading comedy videos onto his YouTube channel, which he started in 2006, including the "Sex Offender Shuffle." For two years (2010–2012) he worked at Funny or Die as a staff writer and director. In 2012, he was hired to work for the TBS show '' Conan'' as a writer and director. Moonbeam City
''Moonbeam City'' is an American adult animated television series that was created by Scott Gairdner, and starred the voices of Elizabeth Banks, Rob Lowe, Kate Mara and Will Forte. It premiered on Comedy Central on September 16, 2015. A parody of 1980s cop shows such as ''Miami Vice'' and ''City Hunter'', the show was sponsored by the Canadian government and animated by Toronto-based studio Solis Animation using Adobe After Effects software. ''Moonbeam City'' featured a distinctive 80s-influenced futuristic visual style with heavy use of neon lighting, inspired by media such as ''Tron''; character designs were similar to the style of the artist Patrick Nagel. The Room
''The Room'' is a 2003 American drama film written, produced, executive produced and directed by Tommy Wiseau, who stars in the film alongside Juliette Danielle and Greg Sestero. The film centers on a melodramatic love triangle between amiable banker Johnny (Wiseau), his deceptive Engagement, fiancée Lisa (Danielle) and his conflicted Best friends forever, best friend Mark (Sestero). A significant portion of the film is dedicated to a series of unrelated subplots, most of which involve at least one supporting character and are left unresolved due to the film's inconsistent narrative structure. Tiny Fuppets is a 2009 animated Portuguese-language web-based cartoon, created by Scott Gairdner. The show is a parody of Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, and relies on irony and surrealism, as well as purposeful mistranslations for its humour.
