Scott Allen (figure Skater)
Scott Ethan "Scotty" Allen (born February 8, 1949) is a retired American figure skater. He is the 1964 Olympic bronze medalist, the 1965 world silver medalist, and the 1964 and 1966 U.S. national champion. The son of Swedish figure skating champion Sonja Fuhrman, Allen made his national debut at the age of nine, winning the silver medal in the novice division at the 1959 U.S. Championships. At that time he was the youngest competitor ever to skate in the Championships. He won the bronze medal at the 1964 Winter Olympics two days before his 15th birthday, becoming the youngest medalist at the Winter Olympics. He still holds the record for the youngest male medalist and the youngest individual medalist. He represented the Skating Club of New York in competition. Scott Allen (born 30 January 1975) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Australian Football League (AFL). Scott Allen (born April 6, 1966, in New Bedford, Massachusetts) is a retired professional ice hockey center and a former assistant coach of the New York Islanders and Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League. He is currently an assistant coach for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Allen started his career with the Troy Sabres of the All-American Hockey League in 1986. He was then traded to the Carolina Thunderbirds during the 1986–87 season. Allen stayed with the team for four seasons as they made their move from the AAHL to the ECHL and changed their name from the Carolina Thunderbirds to the Winston-Salem Thunderbirds. Scott Allen (born December 18, 1965) is an American businessman and Republican politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing central Waukesha County. Biography From Waukesha, Wisconsin, Scott served in the United States Army Reserve and received his bachelor's degree in political science from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and his master's degree in urban planning/public administration. He also went to University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and University of Wisconsin–Waukesha. Allen is in the real estate business. He also served on the Waukesha Common Council and is a Republican. On November 4, 2014, Allen was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly. He serves in Senate District 33, Assembly District 97. A Covenant of Thorns is a one-man electronic alternative project from the United States. Formed in Seattle, in 1992, by Scott-David Allen, the project is currently based in the upper Midwest, outside of Chicago. History After a string of smaller projects and bands, in 1992, Scott-David Allen moved from San Francisco to Seattle and began work on various songs with no real plan to release any of the material written. While attending art school, he formed A Covenant of Thorns. Several years later, in 1998, at the urging of individuals who heard the songs, he released two six song EPs, A Covenant of Thorns 1 (October 1, 1998) and A Covenant of Thorns 2 (December 1, 1999). Scott Allan (born 28 November 1991) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Irish League Premiership club Larne, on loan from Scottish Championship club Arbroath. Allan began his career in Scotland with Dundee United, and spent time on loan with Forfar Athletic, before joining English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion in 2012. He never broke into the first team, and after loan spells with Portsmouth (twice), Milton Keynes Dons and Birmingham City, he was released at the end of the 2013–14 season.
