Scott Allan
Scott Allan (born 28 November 1991) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Irish League Premiership club Larne, on loan from Scottish Championship club Arbroath. Allan began his career in Scotland with Dundee United, and spent time on loan with Forfar Athletic, before joining English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion in 2012. He never broke into the first team, and after loan spells with Portsmouth (twice), Milton Keynes Dons and Birmingham City, he was released at the end of the 2013–14 season. Allan then returned to Scottish football with Hibernian. After one season with Hibs, Allan joined Celtic. After signing for Celtic he had loan spells at Rotherham United, Dundee and Hibernian. Allan returned to Hibernian under freedom of contract in 2019 after four years at Celtic, departing in 2022. Scottish Football League Second Division
The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two). The effect of the reconstruction was to split these two divisions into three, with the top flight named the Premier Division, second tier the First Division, and a new third tier was created known as the Second Division. A fourth tier, known as the Third Division, was created in 1994. In 1998, the Premier Division clubs broke away from the SFL to form the Scottish Premier League (SPL). The Forfarshire Cup is a football competition in Scotland competed for by teams in the Forfarshire Football Association from Angus, Dundee and Perth. The name of the competition is often baffling to some, as "Forfarshire" is an archaic and anglicised name for Angus which became official in the late 19th century around the time of Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889 which restructured and renamed many of Scotland's counties, however the name quickly fell into disuse and was very rarely used in everyday conversation and non existent today. The Forfarshire Football Association was founded in 1883 and comprised eighteen clubs. Paul John Gascoigne (, born 27 May 1967), nicknamed Gazza, is an English former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He is described by the National Football Museum as "widely recognised as the most naturally talented English footballer of his generation". Rosshall Academy is a secondary school in the Rosshall ( Crookston) area of Glasgow, Scotland. The school was formed in August 1999 to merge Penilee Secondary School (Penilee) and Crookston Castle Secondary School (Pollok) and moved to a new building roughly equidistant between them on Crookston Road in 2002. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons.
