''Scoop'' is a children's TV series first broadcast by the BBC on the CBBC channel from January 5, 2009 to August 10, 2011. The show stars Shaun Williamson as Digby Digworth, an ambitious but inept journalist for a fictional local newspaper, ''The Pilbury Post''. Each episode centres on Digby's failure to get a scoop, ending up causing mayhem and disaster instead. In each of these he is accompanied by Hacker, a dog. The show also stars Mark Benton as the newspaper's short-tempered editor, Max de Lacey and there are guest appearances by popular British TV actors such as Lesley Joseph and Mina Anwar who plays Selena Sharp, reporter for a rival paper. In one episode the famous children's writer J. K. Rowling is parodied as a novelist character called T. K. Towling, while in another Jeremy Clarkson (ex ''Top Gear'' presenter) is satirised with the character Clark Jameson. David McKay is a Scottish actor and television director. In the television series ''Shoebox Zoo'', he played McTaggart who was the Keeper of the Book of Forbidden Knowledge who was bound to stay with Michael Scott (Peter Mullan) until the book is found by Marnie ( Vivien Endicott-Douglas). McTaggart has been a number of people in the first series. A tour guide, a servant to Michael and Toledo and a clown. Stephen "Steve" Marsh is a British actor, former co-host of the CBeebies programme ''Big Cook, Little Cook'', and co-host of ''Space Hoppers''. Marsh plays the part of the big cook, Ben. He and his ''Big Cook, Little Cook'' co-host Dan Wright form the comedy duo Electric Forecast. Daniel "Dan" Wright is an English comedian and actor who is best known for playing Little Cook Small in the CBeebies programme ''Big Cook, Little Cook'' with Steve Marsh, who played Big Cook Ben. Marsh and Wright form the comedy duo ''Electric Forecast'', and have made numerous television appearances together, such as hosting Sky 1's ''Crash Test Dummies'' in February 2007. Tony Aitken (born 20 June 1946) is an English actor, known for playing a variety of parts in popular television programmes. He attended Belmont Abbey School, Hereford, 1959–64.
