Dan Wright (comedian)
Daniel "Dan" Wright is an English comedian and actor who is best known for playing Little Cook Small in the CBeebies programme ''Big Cook, Little Cook'' with Steve Marsh, who played Big Cook Ben. Marsh and Wright form the comedy duo ''Electric Forecast'', and have made numerous television appearances together, such as hosting Sky 1's ''Crash Test Dummies'' in February 2007. The duo have also appeared in ''Kingdom'', as a pair of duelling brothers and in ''Hotel Trubble'' as demolition workers Mr. Wreck and Mr. Ball, as well as hosting the CBBC show ''Space Hoppers''. In February 2013, Wright starred in the CBBC sketch show ''Fit''. Since January 2014, Wright has appeared in ''4 O'Clock Club'' as Mr. Nunn, the tyrannical sports teacher. Aisling Bea
Aisling Clíodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), known professionally as Aisling Bea ( ), is an Irish comedian, actor and writer. She created, wrote and starred in the comedy series '' This Way Up'' on Channel 4. As a stand-up comedian, she won the "So You Think You're Funny?" award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, being only the second woman to win the award in its then twenty-five year history. ''Scoop'' is a children's TV series first broadcast by the BBC on the CBBC channel from January 5, 2009 to August 10, 2011. The show stars Shaun Williamson as Digby Digworth, an ambitious but inept journalist for a fictional local newspaper, ''The Pilbury Post''. Each episode centres on Digby's failure to get a scoop, ending up causing mayhem and disaster instead. In each of these he is accompanied by Hacker, a dog. ''Kingdom'' is a British television series produced by Parallel Film and Television Productions for the ITV network. It was created by Simon Wheeler and stars Stephen Fry as Peter Kingdom, a Norfolk solicitor who is coping with family, colleagues, and the strange locals who come to him for legal assistance. The Leicester Comedy Festival is an annual comedy festival held in a number of venues across Leicester, England early in the year. History The festival started in 1994 with 40 events in 23 venues over 7 days throughout Leicestershire, attracting 5,000 people.
