SciTech - Our World Tomorrow
''SciTech - Our World Tomorrow'' ( ar, سايتك عالمنا غداً) is the title of two separate but related German-Arabic science television series, one airing on the ONTV (Egypt) television network, the other airing on Oman TV. The series is a cooperation between the German Federal Foreign Office, ONTV (Egypt) and Sultanate of Oman Television. The topics of the series deal with research and inventions in various fields such as energy, transport, environment and technology, with focus on Arabic-German collaborations. The series, hosted by the German journalist Constantin Schreiber in Arabic, is produced in Egypt, Oman and Germany and is broadcast monthly. A new feature in the second season is a talk (Arabic: لقاء الخبراء) in which experts and decision makers are interviewed. Constantin Schreiber
Constantin Schreiber (born 14 June 1979, in Cuxhaven) is a German journalist working for German and Arabic language TV stations. Life As a teenager, Schreiber learned Arabic while spending time in Syria. He holds a law degree and worked as a journalist for the Lebanese newspaper '' Daily Star'' from 2006 to 2007. After that, he was a news correspondent for Deutsche Welle in Dubai and accompanied German Chancellor Angela Merkel on her first trip through the Middle East. From 2009 to 2011, Schreiber served as a media consultant for the Middle East at the German Federal Foreign Ministry. Since 2012, Schreiber has worked as a host and Middle East expert for the German TV channel n-tv. In addition, he also hosts the German-Arabic TV series SciTech - Our World Tomorrow which is aired on ONTV (Egypt) and Sultanate of Oman Television. ''Al Gomhuria'' ( ar, الجمهورية; en, The Republic) is an influential state-owned Egyptian Arabic language daily newspaper. History and profile ''Al Gomhuria'' was established in 1954 following the Egyptian revolution and became the new regime's leading media outlet. The paper was published using the facilities of Wafd party's newspaper ''Al Misri'', which had been disestablished by the regime. Anwar Sadat became the editor of the daily. The publisher of the paper is Dar Al Tahrir which was founded following the 1952 revolution. However, ''Al Gomhuria'' could not completely achieved the goals set by Gamal Abdel Nasser.
