''School Life'' also known as ''In Loco Parentis'' is a 2016 Irish-Spanish documentary film written and directed by Neasa Ní Chianáin and David Rane. The film stars Amanda Leyden and John Leyden in the lead roles. The film was premiered in several international film festivals in 2016 and 2017 while had its theatrical release in the United States on 8 September 2017. The documentary film was released in Ireland and Spain with the title ''In Loco Parentis'' but the title was later changed to ''School Life'' due to its theatrical release in the US. The film was well received and opened to positive reviews from the critics. The documentary was critically acclaimed for its storyline and screenplay and was also lauded by critics as one of the finest ever documentary films. Neasa Ní Chianáin
Neasa Ní Chianáin is an Irish documentary filmmaker, best known for her 2022 film '' Young Plato'' which has been critically acclaimed and nominated for some of the most prestigious awards in the film industry, including the International Documentary Association (IDA) awards and the British Independent Film Awards. Biography Ní Chianáin studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She worked as freelance art director on several Irish feature film and television projects, such as ''All Soul’s Day'', ''Angela’s Ashes'' and ''A Love Divided'', and also on the BBC TV series ''Rebel Heart''. Her first documentary was ''No Man’s Land'' (2001), about the asylum process in Ireland. The International Documentary Film Festival Docville is an annual documentary film festival set in Leuven, Belgium. Docville was founded in 2005 as a thematical series within the arthouse movie theatre Cinema ZED. In the next edition the festival added competitive sections and became independent of the movie theatre. Docville takes place each year in different locations within the city of Leuven. It is the only annual, competitive documentary-only film festival in Belgium. Visions du Réel (Visions of Reality) is an internationally renowned documentary film festival held in April each year in Nyon, Switzerland. Established in 1969 as the Nyon International Documentary Film Festival, the event adopted its current name in 1995 and is the largest Swiss documentary festival. Eryck Abecassis (born 1956) is a composer, musician and an electric guitar player. He composes and plays a wide range of music including orchestral to chamber music, electronic, theater, street theater, and cinema. He moved to Paris in 1976 to study cinema and also worked as a photographer. In 1979 he decided to concentrate on music.
