Selena Gomez & the Scene was an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2008, its last lineup consisted of vocalist Selena Gomez, drummer Greg Garman, bassist Joey Clement, keyboardist Dane Forrest, and guitarist Drew Taubenfeld. The band released three studio albums, seven single (music), singles and nine music videos. Scene+ (formerly Scene) is a Canadian loyalty program established in 2007. It is owned by Scene LP, which is jointly owned by Galaxy Entertainment, a subsidiary of Cineplex Inc., Scotiabank, and Empire Company. Members earn points via purchases of tickets and concessions at Cineplex-owned cinemas and entertainment centres, as well as via purchases made on eligible Scotiabank debit and credit cards. Points can be redeemed for discounts at Cineplex establishments, as well as participating retailers and restaurants. Warez Scene
The Warez scene, often referred to as The Scene, is an underground network of piracy groups specialized in obtaining and illegally releasing digital media before their official release date. The Scene distributes all forms of digital media, including computer games, movies, TV shows, music, and pornography. This network is meant to be hidden from the public, with the files shared only with members of the community. However, as files became commonly leaked outside the community and their popularity grew, some individuals from The Scene began leaking files and uploading them to file-hosts, torrents and EDonkey Networks. The Scene (Canadian Band)
The Scene was a short-lived Canadian psychedelic rock band who had a top 20 hit in their country in 1967 with " Scenes (From Another World)". Some members of the group later ended up in another Canadian rock band, Life. Background The Scene were a popular Montreal group. The line-up consisted of Michael Ship on keyboards, Truly Noland on guitar, Danny Zimmerman on bass and Marty Simon on drums. They released a single "Scenes (from Another World)" bw "You're In A Bad Way". The song got to #14 on the RPM Chart on December 2, 1967. Career Neil Sheppard aka Neil Ship was in New York, where he met Hank Medress and The Tokens, who owned the B.T. Puppy label. He did some studio work for them. The scene subculture is a youth subculture that emerged during the early 2000s in the United States from the pre-existing emo subculture. The demoscene () is an international computer art subculture focused on producing demos: self-contained, sometimes extremely small, computer programs that produce audiovisual presentations. The purpose of a demo is to show off computer programming, programming, visual art, and musical skills.
