Saša Stefanović ( sr-cyr, Саша Стефановић; born 17 September 1975) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. Professional career A point guard, Stefanović played for Profikolor, Beopetrol, Zemun, KK Zvezda Ruma, Radnički Jugopetrol, NIS Vojvodina, Crvena zvezda, BSG Ludwigsburg, Sloga, FMP, Türk Telekom, Iraklis, Bilbao, Igokea, Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, Limoges CSP, Towzin Electric Kashan, Brotnjo, and Ulcinj. On 6 January 2001, Stefanović was at the center of an altercation among players during a game in Antwerp, Belgium, between Stefanović's Zvezda and the home team Telindus Racing Antwerpen at the Top 16 game of the 2000–01 FIBA Saporta Cup. The brawl involved Stefanović and his teammates and Antwerpen's Stefan Sappenberghs and his teammates. The 2003–04 ABA Goodyear League was the third season of the Liga ABA. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). The 2000–01 FIBA Saporta Cup was the thirty-fifth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition. It occurred between October 17, 2000, and April 17, 2001. Antwerp Giants, named Telenet Giants Antwerp for sponsorship reasons, are a Belgian professional basketball club based in Antwerp. Their home arena is Lotto Arena.
