Sayyed Muhammad Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi
Sayyed Muhammad Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi ( ur, ; born 1 September 1960) is a Pakistani jurist who is serving as Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan since 16 March 2020. He previously served as Judge of the Lahore High Court before his elevation to the Supreme Court. It has been claimed by Pakistani journalists that his appointment to the Supreme Court was not on the basis of seniority list, moreover, he is not at all an articulate judge and he did not serve with integrity from the very day he took office. His elevation to the SC was illegally supported by then DG-ISI, Faiz Hameed, in violation of separation of powers.
