Sayed Muhammad Fazal Agha
Syed Muhammad Fazal Agha ( ur, سید محمد فضل آغا) (1946 – 20 May 2020) was a Pakistani politician from Pishin District of Balochistan province of Pakistan who served as Governor of Balochistan from 18 August to 12 October 1999. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan from 1988-1991 from Balochistan. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from 13 August 2018 till his death. Life Syed Fazal Agha was born in Killi Huramzai, Pishin District. He had political affiliation with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F). He participated in the 2008 election and 2013 elections but did not succeed. He was successful in the 2018 elections and was elected as member of Provincial Assembly of Balochistan for PB-20 (Pishin-III). The COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan is part of the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 () caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (). The virus was confirmed to have reached Pakistan on 26 February 2020, when two cases were recorded (a student in Karachi who had just returned from Iran and another person in the Islamabad Capital Territory). Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F)
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (Fazl) also Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) or simply as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Urdu: ; ; JUI-F) is a Deobandi Sunni political party in Pakistan. Established as the ''Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam'' in 1945, it is the result of a factional split in 1988, ''F'' standing for the name of its leader, Fazal-ur-Rehman. It is almost entirely based in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Balochistan, which are mostly inhabited by Pashtuns. The JUI-S faction, led by Samiul Haq, is of regional significance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but has no representation on the national level. The split of JUI into two factions was due to dissent over the policy of Pakistani president Zia-ul-Haq of supporting Mujahideen outfits in the Afghanistan war during the 1980s. Governor Of Baluchistan
The Governor of Balochistan is the head of the province of Balochistan, Pakistan. The post was established on 1 July 1970, after the dissolution of West Pakistan province and the end of One Unit. Under Pakistan's current parliamentary system, the governorship is a ceremonial position, as a symbol of the federation. The governor is appointed by the centre, whereas the principal head of the provincial government remains the elected Chief Minister of Balochistan. Despite this, Balochistan has seen several periods of martial law or governor's rule where, in the absence of a chief minister, the governor exercised broad powers.
