"Say Nothing" is a song by British singer Example, released on 16 September 2012 in the United Kingdom as the lead single from his fourth studio album ''The Evolution of Man'' (2012). The song was written by Example, Johnny McDaid, and Dirty South, and was produced by the latter alongside Moám. The song features guitar work by Graham Coxon. "Say Nothing" entered the UK Singles Chart at number 2, held off the top spot by The Script's "Hall of Fame", which spent a second week at number one. Background and release "Say Nothing" received its world premiere on 30 July 2012 on the Capital FM Breakfast Show. Elliot John Gleave (born 20 June 1982), better known by his stage name Example, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer. His name arose due to his initials being E.G., which is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase '' exempli gratia'' ("for example"). Matthew James Burns (born 31 October 1985) is a Scottish record producer, songwriter, and DJ. His recent writing and production credits include Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Liam Payne, Little Mix, Louis Tomlinson, Pitbull, Ellie Goulding, Kacy Hill, Ariana Grande, Anitta, and others. TC (musician)
Tom Casswell, better known as TC and also as Tommy Boy, is an English drum and bass producer, singer and DJ. He left school and started making music inspired by the sounds of the Bristol scene and the music and atmosphere of St. Paul's, the area of Bristol where he grew up. The first two releases from TC "Get It On" and "Make a Little Space" appeared on Bristol based label BS1 Records. His debut album, ''Evolution'', was released in 2007 on D-Style Recordings.
