Saw Bwe Hmu
Saw Bwe Hmu ( my, စောဘွဲ့မှူး; 19 October 1952–24 July 1994) was a co-founder and the band leader of the Burmese band ''Iron Cross'' and a well known songwriter. An ethnic Karen Christian, he served as the lead guitarist of the band. Other band members included Chit San Maung (guitar), Khin Maung Thant (bass), Banya Naing (keyboards) and Kha Yan (drums). Lay Phyu, Ah Nge, Myo Gyi and Wyne Wyne were the key singers of that band and R Zarni soon joined the band later. Composers Maung Maung Zaw Latt and L Phyu freed it from its reliance on such popular American bands as Metallica and won it critical acclaim and a wide public. He played the guitar at ''Success'' and ''Symphony'' music bands before ''Iron Cross'' was founded. He composed songs for Kaiser ''Kaiser'' is the German word for "emperor" (female Kaiserin). Sittwe
Sittwe (; ; formerly Akyab) is the capital of Rakhine State, Myanmar (Burma). Sittwe, pronounced ''sait-tway'' in the Rakhine language, is located on an estuarial island created at the confluence of the Kaladan, Mayu, and Lay Mro rivers emptying into the Bay of Bengal. As of 2006 the city has 181,000 inhabitants. It is the administrative seat of Sittwe Township and Sittwe District. Etymology The name Sittwe, which literally means "the place where the war meets," is derived from the Burmese pronunciation of စစ်တွေ (pronounced ''Saittwe'' in Arakanese language). When the Burmese King Bodawpaya invaded the Mrauk U Kingdom in 1784, the Rakhine defenders encountered the Burmese force at the mouth of Kaladan river. R Zarni
Zar Ni Myo Nyunt, , on 6 February 1978), better known as R Zar Ni ( my, R ဇာနည်, is a Burmese singer. He is best known for Burmese language covers of Western and Asian ( Cantopop, Mandopop K-pop) pop songs. He was the winner of the "Most Popular Male Recording Artist Award" given by Yangon City FM, a pop-oriented radio station for years 2007 to 2009. Early life R Zarni was born Zarni Myo Nyunt to Myo Lwin and Kaythwe Nyunt in Yangon. He has a younger brother, Thiha Myo Nyunt, who is an aspiring singer with the stage name of M Thiha. Kaiser (Burmese Singer)
Kaiser ( my, ကိုင်ဇာ, ; also Kaizar; born 18 February 1961) is a Burmese singer-songwriter who was most popular in the late 1970s and mid-1980s. The ethnic Rakhine singer was arguably the most successful male singer in Myanmar in the early 1980s. His nonthreatening rockabilly songs were popular with the young and the old alike. He collaborated with leading songwriters of the day like Saw Bwe Mhu, Naing Myanmar, Soe Lwin Lwin, Maung Maung Zan, and Thukhamein Hlaing. His most successful songs were written by Naing Myanmar and Saw Bwe Mhu. Kaiser was also a successful songwriter, who penned many commercially successful songs for top singers of the day, including May Sweet, and Maykhala, his wife in the mid-1980s. Most of his songs were of his own creation although he also sampled and covered Western rock-and-roll hits, most notably those by the Beatles.
