Satok Bridge

Because the bridge had many memories and was the first bridge to be built in Sarawak, the government decided to rebuilt it in 2017 by choosing a local construction company, Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn Bhd (PPK) as the main contractor. It was rebuilt in 2019, but work was suspended in October 2019 due to structural issues: an anchor block had become displaced. After structural correction and redesign, work resumed and the bridge was reopened 15 months later. Sarawak River
The Sarawak River ( ms, Sungai Sarawak) is a river in Sarawak, Malaysia. It is an important source of water and transportation for the inhabitants in southwestern Sarawak. The river is also used for water-related sport activities such as the annual Sarawak Regatta which attract tourists from all over the world. The Astana, the official residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak (Governor of Sarawak) and the New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building is located on the north bank of the river as well as Fort Margherita. Suspension Bridge
A suspension bridge is a type of bridge in which the deck (bridge), deck is hung below suspension wire rope, cables on vertical suspenders.
