Satellize
Satellize (formerly known as Exseed Space) is the first private Indian company to have a satellite in space. In December 2018, their first satellite was launched into space via SpaceX. They launched their second satellite, AISAT (called ExseedSat-2) for a customer, AMSAT (Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation) India on board the fourth stage of the PSLV-C45. Exseed Innovations was started in 2017 by Mahesh Murthy, Asshar Farhan, and Kris Nair in Hyderabad. Its focus is on "assembly, integration, testing and operation of satellites" and seeks to "democratize space exploration". Mahesh Murthy
Mahesh Murthy is an Indian marketer, entrepreneur, and investor. He is the founder of the digital agency Pinstorm. Early life and education Mahesh Murthy was born and raised in a Tamil Brahmin family. His father served in the Indian Army and retired as a colonel. Murthty was accepted into Osmania University to study chemical engineering, from where he dropped out at the age of 17. Career After leaving college, he worked as a vacuum cleaner salesman for Eureka Forbes and subsequently founded his first company, a cleaning service called Vaclean. Pixxel is a India based private space technology company, aiming to put a constellation of 30+ hyperspectral earth observation micro-satellites into a sun-synchronous orbit in 2020s. It was founded by Awais Ahmed and Kshitij Khandelwal while still studying at BITS Pilani in 2019. Pixxel was also Asia's only space startup to qualify for the 2019 Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator in Los Angeles. PSLV-C45
The PSLV-C45 is the 47th mission of the Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) program. The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C45 was launched on 1 April 2019 with a payload of 29 satellites, including one for electronic intelligence, along with 28 customer satellites from other countries. Details The PSLV-C45 was launched from the second launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra pradesh,India. The PSLV C45 rocket carried primary payloads like EMISAT and secondary payloads like M6P, BlueWalker 1, four Lemur-2 out of a total of thirty satellites. EMISAT is developed by DRDO.
