Highway 953 is a provincial highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It runs from Highway 952 to Highway 2. It is about long. Highway 953 passes through the communities of Emma Lake, Sunnyside Beach, Clearsand Beach, Neis Beach, McPhail Cove, and Anglin Lake. Emma Lake is a recreational lake in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located near the southern limit of the Boreal forest of Canada, boreal forest, about north of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Prince Albert. Great Blue Heron Provincial Park
Great Blue Heron Provincial Park is a recreational park in the central region of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan in the boreal forest ecozone of Canada. It is adjacent to the eastern boundary of Prince Albert National Park, about north of the city of Prince Albert. The provincial park was established in 2013 from two pre-existing provincial recreation sites – Emma Lake (Murray Point) and Anglin Lake Recreation Sites – and the addition of a large tract of Crown land. Great Blue Heron Provincial Park encompasses the entirety of Oscar Lake, most of Anglin Lake, the northern portion of Emma Lake, and the very northern tip of Christopher Lake. Anglin Lake
Anglin Lake is a reservoir in the boreal forest ecozone in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is east of the Prince Albert National Park in the central part of the province in the District of Lakeland No. 521. Access to the lake is from Highway 953 and it is about north of the city of Prince Albert. The only community on the lake is Anglin Lake. Anglin Lake history Anglin Lake is a man-made lake in the Spruce River watershed. Beginning in the early 1900s, several different dams were built at varying stages along the Spruce River with the current dam being completed in 1960. Prior to the construction of any of the dams, Anglin Lake was a series of smaller lakes connected by natural channels that only flowed into the Spruce River in high water level years. It is located south-east of Emma Lake and Great Blue Heron Provincial Park in the central part of the province in the District of Lakeland No. 521.
