Sarvis Point, Missouri
Sarvis Point is an unincorporated community in southeastern Webster County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community was located on the north bank of Finley Creek along County Road 321. History A post office called Sarvis Point was established in 1869, and remained in operation until 1909. The community was named for the abundance of sarvisberries near the original town site. Webster County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 36,202. Its county seat is Marshfield. The county was organized in 1855 and named for U.S. Senator and U.S. Secretary of State Daniel Webster. Webster County is part of the Springfield, MO Metropolitan Statistical Area.
