Saru Limbu
Saru Limbu (Nepali: सरु लिम्बु; born 6 March 1999) is a Nepali professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Indian Women's League club Kickstart FC and the Nepali Women's National Team. Early life Growing up in her home town in Morang District, Limbu used to watch local football matches, and her friends and cousins influenced her to play football. Her talent was noticed by a teacher who contacted football coach Bikram Dhimal. After watching her play, Dhimal took her to Urlabari where she joined the local New Star Club. Playing for New Star she attracted the attention of bigger clubs including Nepal A.P.F. Club. Club career In 2016, APF offered her a contract. Initially, Limbu's family did not want her to go, but, as it was a departmental team where she would have more than just a football job, her family agreed. Karachi United Football Club is a Pakistani professional football club based in Clifton, Karachi. Karachi United competed in the Karachi Football League, one of the top leagues of Karachi. 2022 SAFF Women's Championship
The 2022 SAFF Women's Championship was the 6th edition of the SAFF Women's Championship, the international women's football championship contested by the national teams of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The tournament were played from 6–19 September 2022 in Kathmandu, Nepal. In the final, Bangladesh played Nepal on 19 September 2022 at the Dasharath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu. Bangladesh won the final match 3–1, claiming their first SAFF title. Bangladeshi player Sabina Khatun was the tournament's best player, winning the Most Valuable Player award. Also, Sabina Khatun won the Top scorer(s) award as she scored the most goals during the tournament with eight. Bangladesh's Rupna Chakma won the Best Goalkeeper award with four clean sheets, awarded to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets. Dasharath Rangasala
Dasharath Rangasala ( ne, दशरथ रंगशाला; ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. It is named after Dasharath Chand, one of the four great martyrs of Nepal. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and cultural programmes. It has floodlights installed, to facilitate matches and events in the evenings. Most of Nepal's national and international tournaments are held in this stadium. Nepal's primary football division, Martyr's Memorial League, is also held on this ground every year.
