Sarmede is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about north of Venice and about northeast of Treviso. Štěpán Zavřel
Štěpán Zavřel (26 December 1932 – 25 February 1999) was a Czech painter, fresco creator, graphic artist, and writer. He lived and studied in Czechoslovakia until 1959, then he emigrated to Italy. There he studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. Afterwards he traveled through whole Europe, during this time he arranged exhibitions of his own works. Schism Of Montaner
In the Schism of Montaner between 1967 and 1969, almost all residents of the Italian village of renounced Catholicism and embraced the Eastern Orthodoxy. This was due to a disagreement with the bishop of Vittorio Veneto, Albino Luciani, the future Pope John Paul I, over the appointment of the local priest. Giovanni "Gianni" De Biasi (, sq, Xhovani "Xhani" De Biazi), born 16 June 1956 is an Italian football coach and former player. He holds dual Italian and Albanian citizenship. De Biasi was the first coach of the Albania national team to lead the team to qualify for a major tournament, namely UEFA Euro 2016. Playing career De Biasi was born in Sarmede, Treviso, Italy.
