Araksi Sarian-Harutunian
Araksi Sarian-Harutunian ( hy, Արաքսի Սարյան, born August 17, 1937, Leninakan - September 26, 2013, Yerevan) was an Armenian musicologist, art history candidate, professor of Yerevan State Conservatory. Honored Art Worker of Armenia (2008). Member of Composers Union of Armenia (1966). Biography Araksi Sarian (Harutunian) was born on August 17, 1937 in Leninakan (now Gyumri) in the family of Artsrun Harutunian who was an actor and one of the founders of the Leninakan Drama Theatre after V. Atchemyan. Her mother was a teacher. In 1955 Araksi entered Yerevan State Medical Institute. But after first year of studies she left the institute and entered the historical division of Yerevan State Conservatory. After graduating from the Conservatory, in 1962 Araksi became a postgraduate student of Ethnography and Folklore Institute under Armenian academy of sciences under the guidance of musicologist Robert Atayan. Bailey Brooke Sarian (born November 26, 1988) is a YouTuber known for her video series ''Murder, Mystery & Makeup'' and podcast ''Dark History''. She is considered to have been the founder of the “ true crime makeup” genre of YouTube videos. Career Prior to creating her YouTube content, Sarian worked as a social media creator with cosmetics subscription service IPSY, and as an employee for the brands Sephora and Urban Decay. She began her YouTube channel in 2013 as a traditional makeup channel, producing makeup tutorials and reviews. In January 2019, she released the first episode of ''Murder, Mystery & Makeup'', in which she discussed the Watts family murders whilst applying makeup. Liz Sarian ( hy, Լիզ Սարյան) is a French Armenian singer. Biography Sarian was born in a family of Armenian genocide survivors. She started to sing in childhood after she listened to Armenian songs sung by her mother. Some of Sarian's releases including "On s'aime" became bestsellers in Western Europe. She also took part at MIDEM 1967 in Cannes. Sarian's first concert in Yerevan took place in 1984 in Karen Demirchyan Complex. She is also known for joint concerts with Aida Garvarentz and Seda Aznavour. Zacarias Sarian
Zacarias "Zac" Bolong Sarian was a Filipino development journalist and recipient of the 1974 Ramon Magsaysay Award for his work in the field. He had a foreign service degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Career As the agriculture columnist for the ''Manila Chronicle'' in the 1960s, Sarian proposed and received funding for a monthly magazine on farming and gardening. He edited the magazine, called ''Philippine Farms and Gardens'', from May 1964 until its last issue in September 1972.
