Sardar Gulab Singh Khatri
Sardar Gulab Singh alias Gulaba Singh was the founder of Dallewalia Misl, one of the Sovereign state, sovereign states of the Dal Khalsa, Sikh confederacy that rose during the 18th century in the Punjab region. The Dallewalia and Nishanwalia Misl were stationed as a reserve force at Amritsar to protect the holy city and tackle any emergency. The Amritsar and the Punjab region was subject to raids by the Afghans led by Ahmad Shah Abdali therefore the Sikhs had created misls to defend the Punjab region and push back the invaders. Early life Gulab Singh was the son of Shardha Ram of village Dallewal Since Gulab Singh was a resident of the village of Dalewal, Dallewal, hence the name of his misl that was established near Dera Baba Nanak, in Doaba Bist Jalandhar. Dal Khalsa (Sikh Army)
Dal Khalsa was the name of the combined forces of 12 Sikh misls that operated in the 18th century (1735–1780) in the Punjab region. History Mughal rule of Punjab The religion of Sikhism began at the time of the conquest of Northern India by Babur. His grandson, Akbar, supported religious freedom and after visiting the langar of Guru Amar Das had a favorable impression of Sikhism. As a result of his visit he donated land to the langar and had a positive relationship with the Sikh gurus until his death in 1605. His successor, Jahangir, saw the Sikhs as a political threat. He arrested Guru Arjan Dev because of Sikh support for Khusrau Mirza and ordered him to be put to death by torture. Zain Khan Sirhindi
Zain-ud-Din Khan known as Zain Khan Sirhindi (died 1764) was the Mughal Empire, Mughal Faujdar of Sirhind, he was a serviceman of Shah Alam II, an ally of Najib-ud-Daula and Ahmad Shah Durrani. Zain Khan Sirhindi fought during the Third Battle of Panipat and strengthened Mughal rule in the region. Zain Khan was sipahsalar and a great noble at the court of Ahmed Shah Durrani. Nakodar is a town and a municipal council in Jalandhar district in the Indian state of Punjab. Sardar Tara Singh Ghaiba
Sardar Tara Singh Ghaiba (1710–1807) was an associate member of the Dallewalia Misl, who became the chief of the Misl after the death of their founding member and head Sardar Gulab Singh Rathore. He made Rahon the capital of his Misl. Early life Sardar Tara Singh was supposedly born in 1710.
