Sarasin Family
The Sarasin family (Thai: สารสิน) refers to a wealthy assimilated Thai Chinese business clan that rose to prominence during the 19th century. The family monopolised a number of bureaucratic offices and established a number of key businesses, one of which – the Thai Pure Drinks Co. Ltd – remains to this day and is co-owned by the family. The entrenched status of the Sarasin clan has been noted by many Thai historians and sociologists as exemplifying the successful integration of Chinese immigrants in Thailand throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, and their descendants' subsequent influence on Thailand's economy and politics. Bangkok

Wanglee Family
The Wanglee family ( th, หวั่งหลี, from zh, 黌利) is a Thai family of Teochew Chinese descent. The family traces its origins to Tan Tsue Huang (, 1841–1920), of the Tan clan (陳, '' Chen'' in Mandarin), who arrived in Siam during the reign of King Mongkut (Rama IV, 1851–1868) and established a successful business during the second half of the nineteenth century. He used overseas family networks to maintain trade routes with Canton, Hong Kong, Singapore and Saigon, and later expanded into rice milling and insurance. Tan settled in Bangkok in 1871 and married a daughter of the Poshyananda family. His second son, Tan Lip Buay, inherited the business, which became one of Siam's largest rice millers and exporters by 1920. Phuket Island
Phuket (; th, ภูเก็ต, , ms, Bukit or ''Tongkah''; Hokkien:普吉; ) is one of the southern provinces (''changwat'') of Thailand. Sarasin Bridge ( th, สะพานสารสิน, , ) is a bridge in Thailand, it is a bridge connecting the mainland of Phuket and Phang Nga in southern Thailand, and known as one of the most beautiful bridges and has an unforgettable history of Thailand. Sarit Thanarat
Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat (also spelt ''Dhanarajata''; th, สฤษดิ์ ธนะรัชต์, ; 16 June 1908 – 8 December 1963) was a Thai general who staged a coup in 1957, replacing Plaek Phibunsongkhram as Thailand's prime minister until Sarit died in 1963. The Chakri dynasty ( th, ราชวงศ์ จักรี, , , ) is the current reigning dynasty of the Kingdom of Thailand, the head of the house is the king, who is head of state. 2014 Thai Coup D'état
