Sarah Jane Abad
Sarah Jane Abad is a Filipino actress and former child actress. Career Abad's first film role was in "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" in 1993, where she played one of the three children of Gabby Concepcion and Lorna Tolentino's characters. Both Abad and older sister Kaye Abad auditioned for the role, the older sibling was originally picked for the role but Abad had to take over when the role of the father was recast. For the said role, she was awarded Best Child Performer in the 19th Metro Manila Film Festival. Abad is mostly remembered in ''Kung Mawawala Ka Pa'', where she played the leukemia-stricken Charina, daughter to Christopher de Leon and Dawn Zulueta's characters. The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is an annual film festival held in Metro Manila, Philippines. The festival, which runs from December 25 (Christmas) through New Year's Day and into first weekend of January in the following year, focuses on Filipino films. During the course of the festival, movie theaters show only films that are approved by its jurors and exclude foreign films except in 3D theaters and IMAX theaters. Since 2010s, film entries were played in select 3D cinemas that it can show movies in 2D format. Jay Oliver Durias Sr. (born 26 August 1975) is a Filipino singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer known for his collaborations with South Border. Early life Durias is the frontman of South Border, a pop and R&B band that traces its roots from Davao City. South Border came into national prominence in 1996 when they launched their first self-titled album, which included a Jimmy Antiporda song entitled "May Pag-Ibig Pa Kaya". They interpreted the song at the Metro Manila Pop Music Festival earlier that year.
