Sarah Duke
Sarah Duke (born 28 October 1987 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States), is an international women's motorcycle trials rider. Biography Duke began riding trials in 2001. In 2005, she was selected for the US Women's Trial des Nations team with Nicole Bradford and Louise Forsley to compete in Italy. The team finished in 9th place. Duke finished the 2006 season with third place in the US NATC Women's Trials Championship behind the Canadian Gas-Gas rider Kerry Williams and the American Sherco rider Caroline Altman. With Forsley, Duke competed for the US Trial des Nations team in France, finishing 7th. In 2007, Duke put together a string of top two finishes, including a win in Tennessee and a pair of wins in Ohio. This was enough to give her the runner-up position in the championship, with Williams again taking the title and Caroline Altman third. FIM Trial World Championship
The FIM Trial World Championship and FIM X-Trial World Championship are the most prestigious motorcycle trials tournaments of the world, organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. The outdoor championship is held since 1964 and the indoor (X-Trial) since 1993. From 1964 to 1967 the championship was named Challenge Henry Groutards. From 1968 to 1974, it was the Trial European Championship, and from 1975 onwards it has been known as the World Championship. Up until 2010, the outdoor world trial championship has been won by 6 different pilots from the UK, 5 from Spain, 2 from Finland and France, and 1 from Belgium, Germany, United States, Japan and Sweden. A motorcycle (motorbike, bike, or trike (if three-wheeled)) is a two or three-wheeled motor vehicle steered by a handlebar. Rachel Hassler
Rachel Hassler (born 22 May 1995 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States), is an American women's International motorcycle trials rider. Hassler is a three time NATC Women's Trials Champion and member of the American Trial Des Nations team. Biography Rachel first competed in the NATC Women's national series in 2010, scoring in all rounds and finishing the season in a creditable 4th place. In 2011, she went one better, ending the season in 3rd place behind Caroline Allen and Colorado rider Sarah Duke. The 2012 season started well for Hassler, a pair of wins at the opening two rounds in California set her up for a good season. Rounds 3 and 4 didn't go quite as planned but the title chase was back on track following a 2nd place and a win in Ohio. The final two rounds in Rhode Island saw Rachel take another win and a runner up place to bag her first NATC Women's Title ahead of Caroline Allen. Caroline Allen (born June 18, 1992 in Attleboro, Massachusetts) is an American women's international motorcycle trials rider. Biography Allen first competed in the NATC Women's Trials Championship in 2005, scoring a third-place finish in the final New York round, enough to give her 10th place in the championship. She returned in 2006 and entered three rounds, taking her first national victory in Rhode Island and ending the season with a good 4th place. After skipping national events in 2007, Allen returned to compete in her first full season in 2008, taking podium finishes in all six rounds and finishing the season in 3rd place behind Canadian Christy Williams and Sarah Duke. Allen was selected to represent the US in the annual FIM Trial des Nations event held in Andorra alongside Duke and Louise Forsley. The US women's team finished in 7th position. Christy Williams
Christy Williams (born 14 August 1980), is an international women's motorcycle trials rider. Williams is a four time Canadian Women's Trials Champion and ten time American NATC Women's Trials Champion. Biography Williams was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. In 1999 Williams headed over the border into the United States to compete in the NATC Women's Trials Championship . She won the 1999 series ahead of American rider Pam DeBruin then returned to defend her title in 2000 and 2001, both years winning ahead of her sister Kerry Williams. They repeated their one-two combination again in 2003 and 2004, then Christy won in 2005 ahead of Louise Forsley. Williams returned to take three more titles in 2008 until 2010. In August 2017 Williams announced her retirement from national competition after 20 years, though she still plans on competing back home in Canada.
