Sarah Bovy
Sarah Bovy (born 15 May 1989 in Liège) is a Belgian female racing driver. She has recently competed with the Iron Dames team in multiple series, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Biography Following two years in karting, Bovy began her racing career as a Formula Renault Academy driver in Formula Renault 1.6 Belgium. Former Formula One driver Thierry Boutsen took her under his wing as part of his team, and began an association with the Boutsen-Ginion squad that saw her race in GT, touring car and silhouette racing disciplines before taking a year's break in 2014 due to a lack of funding and undertook a Bachelor of Marketing course. Bovy returned to the sport in 2015, gaining the funding to complete a full season in the Renault Sport Trophy. W Series is an all-female Formula racing, single-seater racing championship. The series' first season was in 2019; it featured twenty drivers contesting six races. History The W Series was publicly launched on 10 October 2018. Rumours about the creation of a female-only racing series had begun to circulate in November 2017. It was created in response to the lack of female drivers progressing to the highest levels of motorsport, particularly Formula 1. 2022 European Le Mans Series
The 2022 European Le Mans Series was the nineteenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Circuit Paul Ricard on 17 April and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 16 October. The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship
The 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship will be the tenth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, an auto racing series organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series is open to prototype and grand tourer-style racing cars divided into four categories. World Championship titles will be awarded to the leading manufacturers and drivers in both the prototype and grand tourer divisions. Rahel Frey
Rahel Frey (born 23 February 1986 in Niederbipp, Canton of Bern) is a Swiss Audi factory racing driver. She has competed in such series as Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, International Formula Master and the German Formula Three Championship. Frey competed in the LMGT1 category of 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans. She shared #61 Matech Competition Ford GT with fellow Swiss female drivers Natacha Gachnang and Cyndie Allemann. All three participating Fords were forced to retire from the race. Frey then joined the Audi DTM squad and replaced Katherine Legge in 2011. Then decided she did not wish to carry on with her DTM career and left at the start of the 2013 season. Manuela Gostner (born 19 May 1984 in Bolzano) is a racing driver from Italy. Biography A member of the Gostner family synonymous with Ferrari Challenge competition, Manuela entered the European championship with encouragement from her brother David at the end of the 2014 season. She became a regular name in the amateur Coppa Shell class over the coming years, winning two races in 2018. Having entered the 2017 GT4 European Series Northern Cup to earn an FIA Bronze Licence, she was picked up by Kessel Racing to make up an all-female entry into the European Le Mans Series, with plans to make the grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 2021 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was the eleventh season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Doriane Pin (born 6 January 2004 in Paris) is a racing driver from France. She is the reigning Ferrari Challenge Europe champion and is competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series.
