Sarah Adegoke
Sarah Adegoke (born 1997) is an inactive Nigerian tennis player. She is currently the highest ranked tennis player in women's singles according to Nigeria Tennis Federation. Career Brought up in Ibadan, Oyo State, Adegoke learnt to play tennis through her father, Adedapo Adegoke, whom she noted was not professionally trained but read sporting articles and magazines to tutor her on the laws of the game. She began representing Nigeria in 2010, and by 2014 was the highest ranked woman in Nigerian tennis. She describes Serena Williams as her biggest motivation in the game. Adegoke was the first runnerup in the senior women's category at the 34th edition of the CBN Tennis Open Championship in 2012. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to manoeuvre the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. The player who is unable to return the ball validly will not gain a point, while the opposite player will. Tennis is an Olympic sport and is played at all levels of society and at all ages. Zarah Razafimahatratra (born 24 August 1994) is a retired Malagasy tennis player. Razafimahatratra was Madagascar's top female tennis player. She won one singles title and five doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In 2013, she made her debut for the Madagascar Fed Cup team. She had her maiden appearance against Cyprus in Moldova on 9 May, helping the team to a win following a decade of absence. On the junior circuit, she achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 22, on 29 January 2012. Ikoyi Club
The Ikoyi Club was established as a European club in 1938 in Ikoyi, Lagos. It was originally converted from a prison to a rest house. It occupies approximately 456 acres of land. In the subsequent years, the European Club merged with the Lagos Golf Club.
