Sara Mathilde Øster (born 21 September 1973 in Copenhagen) is a Danish artist. Sara Mathilde Øster graduated from the University of the Arts London and debuted at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in 2009. She has among other places had exhibitions at Fuglsanghus, Hørsholm, and Cobra-rummet at Sophienholm. Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition
The Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition (''Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling'') is an annual art exhibition in Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark. The event is held at the Charlottenborg Exhibition Building (''Kunsthal Charlottenborg''). Kunsthal Charlottenborg was erected in the former site of the University of Copenhagen Botanical Garden, Botanical Garden on a tract of land behind Charlottenborg Palace. The exhibition building was designed by architects Albert Jensen (1847–1913) and Ferdinand Meldahl (1827–1908) and inaugurated in 1883. Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition has been held annually since 1857 and originated as an exhibition showing new works by Danish artists. Hørsholm
Hørsholm () is an urban area on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers most of Hørsholm Municipality and straddles the borders neighbouring Fredensborg Municipality and Rudersdal Municipality. Hørsholm proper is developed around Hirschholm Palace, which was constructed in the 1730s, but the town has later absorbed several of the nearby communities that are of much older origins. Sophienholm is a former manor house and exhibition venue located north on the shore of Lake Bagsværd in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality in the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The main building was originally a country home built in 1769 by Johan Theodor Holmskiold who named the house after his wife Sophie Holmskjold. Its next owner, Constantin Brun, had it completely rebuilt at the turn of the 19th century into its present appearance, and it became a lively cultural venue during the Danish Golden Age when his wife, the writer and salonist Friederike Brun, played host to many prominent Danish and foreign cultural figures of the time. Frederiksberg () is a part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is an independent municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality, separate from Copenhagen Municipality, but both are a part of the region of Copenhagen.
