Sápara Language
The Sápara, also known as Zápara or Záparo, are an indigenous people native to the Amazon rainforest along the border of Ecuador and Peru. They once occupied some 12,000 mi² between the Napo River and the Pastaza. Early in the 20th century, there were some 200,000 Zapara. From the year 2009 on the Ecuadorian Zápara call themselves ''Sápara''. The official name is Nación Sápara del Ecuador (NASE). It means Sápara Nation of Ecuador. The president of this nation is Klever Ruiz. The Sápara Nation was officially registered by CONDENPE – the Council of Development of the nationalities and peoples of Ecuador – on September 16, 2009. The current name of the organisation is the result of a unification process of upriver and downriver communities. There was a conflict between these different groups about their authentic ethnic identity in the last years of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Marek Sapara (born 31 July 1982) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for OŠK Bešeňová. He was an assistant manager at MFK Ružomberok. Sapara appeared at the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Club career Rosenborg Sapara joined Rosenborg in 2006, making his debut for the Norwegian side on 10 September 2006 in a match against Sandefjord. On 26 September, he scored his first goal for the club against Odd Grenland. Trabzonspor September 2011, Sapara joined Trabzonspor along with Róbert Vittek, for a transfer fee of €200,000. Chief Oguntola Odunbaku Sapara M.D. (9 June 1861 – June 1935) was a Yoruba doctor, originally from Sierra Leone, who spent most of his career and life in Nigeria. He was best known for his campaign against smallpox. Early life and education Oguntola Sapara was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, on 9 June 1861 and named Alexander Johnson Williams. His father was a liberated slave from Ilesa in Western Nigeria, and his mother was from Egbaland. While in London, Sapara put himself at the disposal of Ida B. Wells during her second anti-lynching campaign in the UK (1894), and joined with her at the home of Mrs P. W. Clayden (wife to editor of '' The Daily News'') to mail out copies of English press coverage of Ida's tour to the US President, statesmen, churchmen and newspaper men of the US.
