The KBC Augusta is a professional golf tournament that is held in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The title sponsor is the Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting and it is held in August. Since its foundation in 1973, it has been an event on the Japan Golf Tour. Since 1992, the KBC Augusta has been played at Keya Golf Club near Itoshima. Before then it was played at Fukuoka Country Club (Wajiro Course) near Fukuoka until 1982 and then at Kyushu Shima Country Club near Itoshima between 1983 and 1991. is a city located in western Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of April 2018, the city has an estimated population of 96,540, with 34,685 households and a population density of 454 persons per km². Rikuya Hoshino
Rikuya Hoshino (星野陸也, ''Hoshino Rikuya'', born 12 May 1996) is a Japanese professional golfer. He has played full-time on the Japan Golf Tour since 2017 and has won six times on the tour. Professional career Hoshino turned professional in August 2016. In early 2017, he won the Novil Cup on the Japan Challenge Tour. Since 2017, Hoshino has played on the main Japan Golf Tour. Koumei Oda
is a Japanese professional golfer. Career Oda was born in Tagawa, Fukuoka. He turned professional in 2000. Oda won the 2008 Casio World Open and the 2009 Token Homemate Cup. He competed in the 2009 Open Championship at Turnberry, but failed to make the cut, finishing day two at 14 over par. He retained the Casio World Open in 2009 and the Token Homemate Cup in 2010. Michael Hendry (born 15 October 1979) is a professional golfer from New Zealand. Since 2013 he has played primarily on the Japan Golf Tour where he won the 2015 Token Homemate Cup.
