The 2015 Japan Golf Tour season was played from 16 April to 6 December. The season consisted of 25 official money events, mostly in Japan, as well as the four majors. One event was played in Thailand. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2015 season. Kim Kyung-tae
Kim Kyung-tae ( ko, 김경태; born 2 September 1986), also known as K.T. Kim, is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the Asian and Japan Golf Tours. Career He won several tournaments as an amateur, including the 2006 Japan Amateur Championship and two events on the 2006 Korean Tour. He turned professional in late 2006 and won the 2007 Maekyung Open in his second start on the Asian Tour. In 2010, Kim won the Diamond Cup Golf, Japan Open and Mynavi ABC Championship on the Japan Golf Tour and became the first Korean golfer to lead the money list on the Tour. Kim has played in each of the four major championships, recording top-50 finishes in each, with his best being a T30 finish at the 2011 U.S. Open. The is a professional golf tournament played in Japan. Founded in 1971, it has been a Japan Golf Tour event since 1979. Since 1998, the event has been prefixed , with the top finishers gaining exemptions into The Open Championship. The Mizuno Open has been held at several course, most recently at Setonaikai Golf Club in Kasaoka, Okayama in 2021. The purse for the 2021 event was ¥80,000,000, with ¥16,000,000 going to the winner. History The Mizuno Open was founded in 1971 as the Mizuno Tournament with both men's and women's events running side-by-side. It was restricted to golfers using at least ten Mizuno clubs. The KBC Augusta is a professional golf tournament that is held in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The title sponsor is the Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting and it is held in August. Prayad Marksaeng ( th, ประหยัด มากแสง; born 30 January 1966) is a Thai professional golfer. Career Prayad was a member of Thailand's winning golf team at the 1987 South East Asian Games and turned professional in 1991. He has been a member of the Asian Tour since it began in its modern form in 1995. He has won seven events on the tour, becoming one of the first ten men to reach a million U.S. dollars in career earnings. He has also competed on the Japan Golf Tour and in 2008 won three tournaments in Japan. is a Japanese professional golfer who plays on the Japan Golf Tour and the Asian Tour. Iwata was born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He started playing golf at the age of 14, by his father's influence, who ran a local golf range and was a professional golfer on the Japan Senior Tour. Iwata played college golf at Tohoku Fukushi University. Iwata turned professional in 2004 and has played on the Japan Golf Tour since then. His first win came at the 2014 Fujisankei Classic. 2015 OneAsia Tour
The OneAsia Tour was a men's professional golf tour based in the Asia-Pacific region. The tour was founded in 2009 as a joint venture between the PGA Tour of Australasia, the China Golf Association, the Korean Golf Association and the Korean PGA. The Japan Golf Tour was invited to participate in the project in 2012 and has co-sanctioned the Indonesia Open, Indonesia PGA Championship and Thailand Open. OneAsia was seen as a rival to the longer established Asian Tour, with which it had poor relations. From 2010 to 2017, the OneAsia Tour had world ranking status in its own right.
