Sanitiar Burhanuddin
Sanitiar Burhanuddin (17 July 1954) is the present Attorney General of Indonesia, serving since October 2019 in the cabinet of President Joko Widodo. He was previously deputy attorney general for civil and state administrative cases. Upon his appointment, he denied having links to any political parties, despite his older brother, Tubagus Hasanuddin, being an executive of the ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and a former military secretary to former president and incumbent PDI-P leader Megawati Sukarnoputri. In response to calls for the government to settle unresolved cases of human rights abuses, including the Semanggi shootings, Burhanuddin in January 2020 said the National Commission on Human Rights had not submitted complete evidence to the Attorney General's Office. The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian: ''Kejaksaan Agung Republik Indonesia'') is the competent authority to advise the Government of Indonesia on matters of law. It serves as the central organization for the Indonesian Public Prosecution Service (''Kejaksaan Republik Indonesia''). The Attorney General's Office is seated in the national capital Jakarta. Prince Diponegoro ( jv, ꦢꦶꦥꦤꦼꦒꦫ; born Bendara Raden Mas Mustahar, ; later Bendara Raden Mas Antawirya ; 11 November 1785 – 8 January 1855), also known as Dipanegara, was a Javanese prince who opposed the Dutch colonial rule. The eldest son of the Yogyakartan Sultan Hamengkubuwono III, he played an important role in the Java War between 1825 and 1830. Syahrul Yasin Limpo is an Indonesian politician, who has served as Minister of Agriculture in Joko Widodo's Onward Cabinet since 23 October 2019. He was governor of South Sulawesi from 2008 to 2018. In 2016, Limpo ran for the leadership of Golkar Party but lost to Setya Novanto. After a 2017 meeting with Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University rector Sulaiman ibn Abdullah Abalkhail, Limpo helped facilitate the opening of a Saudi-funded university in South Sulawesi. In 2017, Limpo oversaw a controversial project in the province to create five artificial islands in order to increase public space at Makassar.
