Sangita Magar
Sangita Magar () is a Nepalese woman who became an activist for victims' rights after surviving an acid attack. She and a friend were attacked when she was 16, but managed to take her SLC exam 25 days later. She subsequently fought to change laws pertaining to victims of such attacks and to the unregulated sale of acid. Biography Sangita Magar was a 16-year-old school girl when she was attacked on 22 February 2015, at Shanti Nikunja School in Basantapur, Kathmandu, where she was preparing for her Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SLC) with her friend Sima Basnet, aged 15. Four masked men forced them into a room and splashed the acid on them. After the attack she went through treatments at the Kathmandu Medical College; Sima Basnet was admitted to Bir Hospital. Sushil Koirala
Sushil Prasad Koirala (; 12 August 1931 – 9 February 2016) was a Nepalese politician and the Prime Minister of Nepal from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015. He was also President of the Nepali Congress from 2010 to 2016, having earlier served under various capacities in the party. Early life Koirala was born to Bodh Prasad and Kumudini Koirala on 12 August 1939 in Biratnagar, second-largest city of Nepal. A member of the politically prominent Koirala family, he was the cousin of former prime ministers Matrika Prasad Koirala, Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala and Girija Prasad Koirala. Bir Hospital (बीर अस्पताल) is the oldest and one of the busiest hospitals in Nepal. It is located at the center of Kathmandu city. The hospital is run by the National Academy of Medical Sciences, a government agency since 2003. The hospital provides medical and surgical treatments. It current has a capacity of 535 beds.
