Sandersleben (Anh) Station
Sandersleben station is the station of Sandersleben in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. It lies at the crossing of the Halle–Vienenburg and the Berlin–Blankenheim railway lines in the municipality of Arnstein and was used to connect between two different concentration camps facilitated by the Nazis. Location The station is located in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz near the Harz in southwestern Saxony-Anhalt. The village of Sandersleben has been incorporated in Arnstein since 2010. The station is located in the west of the village near a sports field and the Wipper. In the area of the station there are houses along the railway lines. The Halle–Vienenburg railway run through the eastern part of the station and the Berlin–Blankenheim railway through the western part of the station. Eisleben
Eisleben is a town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is famous as both the hometown of the influential theologian Martin Luther and the place where he died; hence, its official name is Lutherstadt Eisleben. First mentioned in the late 10th century, Eisleben is divided into old and new towns (Altstadt and Neustadt), the latter of which was created for Eisleben's miners in the 14th century. A new through station was opened in another part of the town in 1868. The first service from Halberstadt ran to Magdeburg. Two more lines were added during the next few decades.
