Sande Station ( no, Sande stasjon) is a railway station on the Vestfold Line in Sande, Vestfold, Sande, Norway. The station is served with regional trains on the RE11 line operated by Vy. Sande is a former municipality in Vestfold County, Norway. Its administrative centre is the village of Sande i Vestfold. The municipality of Sande was established on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Sande is located in a beautiful area by the sea about south of Oslo (50 minutes driving time). In recent years the administrative center of Sande has grown significantly due to many new apartments and stores. Portions of the 1973 '' Olsenbanden'' movie ''Olsenbanden tar gull'' from were filmed in Sande. Another portion was filmed Stavern. Vestfold Line
The Vestfold Line ( no, Vestfoldbanen) is a railway line which runs between Drammen and Eidanger in Norway. The line connects to the Drammen Line at the northern terminus at Drammen Station and continues as the Bratsberg Line past Skien Station. The line is exclusively used for passenger trains, which are provided by the Norwegian State Railways, which connect northwards to Oslo and south-westwards to Grenland. The section from Eidanger to Skien is often colloquially included in the Vestfold Line.The standard gauge line is electrified at and has twelve remaining stations. The new Holmestrand Station is a railway station on the Vestfold Line located in the town of Holmestrand in Vestfold, Norway, that opened for traffic on 28 November 2016. It is located inside the tunnel Holmestrandsporten. In October 2016, the old station named Holmestrand was closed to prepare for the opening of the new one. On 28 November 2016, the new Holmestrand station opened. This is placed inside the mountain Holmestrandfjellet. Drammen Station (''Drammen stasjon'') is a railway station located in downtown Drammen in Buskerud, Norway. History Drammen Station was first opened in 1866 in Conjunction with the opening of the Randsfjorden Line. The station is the terminus of the Sørlandet Line, the Drammen Line and the Vestfold Line. The station is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail to Oslo, Kongsberg and Eidsvoll, regional trains on the Vestfold Line and express trains to Bergen on the Bergen Line and to Kristiansand on the Sørlandet Line.
