Holmestrand Station
The new Holmestrand Station is a railway station on the Vestfold Line located in the town of Holmestrand in Vestfold, Norway, that opened for traffic on 28 November 2016. It is located inside the tunnel Holmestrandsporten. In October 2016, the old station named Holmestrand was closed to prepare for the opening of the new one. On 28 November 2016, the new Holmestrand station opened. This is placed inside the mountain Holmestrandfjellet. Creating the 130 000 cubic meters mountain hall was a six year undertaking for Jernbaneverket, along with partners like the architect and subconsultant Gottlieb Paludan Architects. Railway Station

Vestfold Line
The Vestfold Line ( no, Vestfoldbanen) is a railway line which runs between Drammen and Eidanger in Norway. The line connects to the Drammen Line at the northern terminus at Drammen Station and continues as the Bratsberg Line past Skien Station. The line is exclusively used for passenger trains, which are provided by the Norwegian State Railways, which connect northwards to Oslo and south-westwards to Grenland. The section from Eidanger to Skien is often colloquially included in the Vestfold Line.The standard gauge line is electrified at and has twelve remaining stations. Holmestrand
is a town and municipality in Vestfold in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Holmestrand. The town was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The neighboring rural municipality of Botne was merged into the municipality of Holmestrand on 1 January 1964. Sande municipality merged into Holmestrand on January 1, 2020. The municipality of Hof was merged into Holmestrand on January 1, 2018. The town lies by the Oslofjord and is built beside the water. It was granted municipal status in 1752, but had been a harbour for exporting of timber/lumber since around 1550. It borders the Oslo Fjord in the east, Tønsberg in the south, and it shares a short border with Larvik in the south-west. It is bordered by Viken in the west and north. Vestfold is a traditional region, a former county and a current electoral district in Eastern Norway. In 2020 the county became part of the much larger county of Vestfold og Telemark. Located on the western shore of the Oslofjord, it bordered the previous Buskerud and Telemark counties. The Holmestrandsporten Tunnel (''Holmestrandsporten'') is a long double track railway tunnel which runs through Holmestrandfjellet in Sande, Holmestrand and Re in Vestfold og Telemark, Norway. Skoppum Station
Skoppum Station ( no, Skoppum stasjon) is a railway station on the Vestfold Line in the village of Skoppum, in Horten, Norway. Situated from Oslo Central Station, it serves an hourly regional service operated by Vy. The station has two platforms and is itself located on an island platform, giving Skoppum a keilbahnhof design. The station building was designed by Balthazar Lange in Swiss chalet style. The station opened on 7 December 1881 and served as an interchange station between the Vestfold Line and the Horten Line. The latter was closed for passenger traffic in 1967 and demolished in 2009. Skoppum remains the only station serving Horten, despite being west of the town center. The current station is listed as a heritage site, but will be abandoned in about 2024 when a new section of high-speed rail is built.
