San Marino National Football Team Results
The San Marino national football team's first official match took place on 14 November 1990 against Switzerland. Previously unofficial matches had taken place against the Canadian U-23 team in 1986 and a series of matches at the 1987 Mediterranean Games against Lebanon, Turkey and Syria. These matches took place prior to the nation's affiliation with FIFA. San Marino has not yet qualified for the finals of a major international football tournament. Andy Selva is the team's top scorer with eight goals. San Marino has lost all but eleven of the more than 200 matches they have played. The nation's only victory so far has come against Liechtenstein in a friendly match on 28 April 2004, with a score of 1–0, and they have drawn ten matches (including a draw in an unofficial match against Lebanon). The Stadio Olimpico di San Marino (or Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle) is a multi-purpose stadium in Serravalle, San Marino. First opened in 1969, it is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the national stadium of San Marino. Overview The Stadio Olimpico was also used by Serravalle-based football club A.C. Juvenes/Dogana for its home games in the Italian league, until the side withdrew to concentrate only on the Sammarinese Championship. Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium
The Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium ( tr, Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadyumu) was the home venue of Ankara's Gençlerbirliği. It was built in 1930 and is part of the 19 Mayıs Sports Complex, which is located in the Ulus district. The stadium had a capacity of 19,209 (all-seater). Ankaraspor also used the stadium until they moved to their new venue in the Yenikent district. The stadium was named after the date May 19, 1919, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk arrived at Samsun to start the Turkish War of Independence. Official ceremonies to celebrate the May 19th Youth and Sports Day were also held at the stadium. In August 2018, demolition of the stadium began in order to make way for a new stadium to be built on the site. 1994 FIFA World Cup Qualification (UEFA)
A total of 39 UEFA teams entered qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. However, Liechtenstein withdrew before the draw was made. The CIS, then Russia took the Soviet Union's spot after the Soviet Union dissolved while FIFA suspended Yugoslavia due to United Nations sanctions stemming from the Yugoslav wars. The European zone was allocated 13 from 24 places in the final tournament. Germany, the defending champions, qualified automatically, leaving 12 spots open for competition between 37 teams. The 37 teams were divided into six groups, five of six teams each and one of seven teams (though Group 5 ended up with just five teams following Yugoslavia's suspension). Ullevaal Stadion () is an all-seater football stadium located in Oslo, Norway. It is the home ground of the Norway national football team, and the site of the Norwegian Cup Final. From its opening in 1926 to 2009 it was the home ground of FK Lyn and from 1999 to 2017 was a home ground of Vålerenga IF. The Stadio Dino Manuzzi, officially known as Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi for sponsorship reason, is a football stadium in Cesena, Italy. It is currently the home of Cesena FC. The stadium holds 23,860. History The stadium was initially constructed in 1957 but had no seats at the time(sporting only two terraces instead).
