San Juan Del Paraná
San Juan del Paraná is one of the 30 districts of the Itapúa Department, Paraguay. It is located to the west of the city of Encarnación, the capital of the department, and was founded by Joaquín de Alós y Brú in 1789. Its inhabitants work at low-scale agriculture and to subsistence cattle for subsistence. Area It has an area of 25 square kilometers with a total population if 7,447 inhabitants and a population density of 29.796 inhabitants per square kilometer. Climate This is the coldest zone in the country due to its position in the southernmost border, the absence of elevations that stop the southern wind and the high rate of humidity. Itapúa Department
Itapúa () is a department in the southern region of Paraguay. The capital is the city of Encarnación. It is divided into 30 districts, more than any other district in the country. History This department was created after the breakup of the Misiones Department, with the city of Encarnación as the capital. It had high economic growth in the first 30 years of the arrival of immigrants and the Carlos Antonio Lopez Railway; the growth was accompanied by several ups and downs. An era of decline followed until the 1950s when the Carnaval Encarnaceno became better known and attracted tourists from various regions. Encarnación () is a district and the capital city of Itapúa Department in Paraguay, located at the south-east of the department, on the right-hand (western) shore of the Paraná River, opposite Posadas, Argentina.
