Samuel Loric (born 5 July 2000) is a French professional footballer who plays as a left-back for German club 1. FC Magdeburg. Club career Debut in Vannes Born in Vannes, Samuel Loric started playing football at the age of 6 in his hometown club of AS Ménimur, before joining Vannes Olympique as an 11 years old. Soon appearing as one of the most promising prospects of the Britannic academy, he was even very close to joining Lorient as an under-14, if not for a serious thigh injury. Loric became a regular starter with Vannes OC first team as a 17 years old in the Championnat National 3, after he made his debut against Pontivy in 2017, during a 2–0 Coupe de France win. The Paris Saint-Germain Academy, commonly known as the PSG Academy, is the youth system of both Paris Saint-Germain F.C., Paris Saint-Germain (men's team) and Paris Saint-Germain Féminine (women's team). 2019–20 Championnat National 2
The 2019–20 Championnat National 2 was the 22nd season of the fourth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition was contested by 64 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 16 teams each. The teams included amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
