Samuel Gigot
Samuel Florent Thomas Gigot (born 12 October 1993) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille, Marseille. He is the brother of professional rugby league footballer Tony Gigot. Career Gigot is a youth product of AC Arles-Avignon, Arles-Avignon. He made his Ligue 2 debut on 30 August 2013 in a match against Chamois Niortais FC, Niort. On 15 August 2014, he scored his first league goal against AS Nancy Lorraine, Nancy. On 4 June 2018, Gigot signed a four-year contract with Russian club FC Spartak Moscow, Spartak Moscow, where he later became notable for his passion, and, despite being a defender, his willingness to join attacks. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League. Dynamo was the only club that had always played in the top tier of Soviet football (along with Dynamo Kyiv) and of Russian football from the end of the Soviet era until they were relegated in 2016. The 2015–16 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 113th season of top-tier football in Belgium. The Championnat National 3, commonly referred to as simply National 3 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur 2, is a football league competition. The league serves as the fifth division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National, and the Championnat National 2. Usually contested by 168 clubs, the Championnat National 3 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National 2 and the regional leagues of the Division d'Honneur, the sixth division of French football. Teams There were three promoted teams from Championnat National, replacing the three teams that were promoted to Ligue 1 following the 2013–14 season. A total of 20 teams competed in the league with three clubs relegated to the third division, the National. All clubs that secured Ligue 2 status for the season were subject to approval by the DNCG before becoming eligible to participate. On 18 April 2014, Luzenac became the first team to secure a spot in the Ligue 2 following a 1–0 victory over Boulogne-sur-Mer, which gave them an advance on the 4th placed team, Red Star, that couldn't be surpassed in the last games. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in France, French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The tournament was established in 1993 and, unlike the Coupe de France, was only open to professional clubs in France which play in country's French football league system, top three football divisions, though the Championnat National, third is not fully professional. The 2021–22 Russian Cup was the 29th season of the Russian football knockout tournament since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The competition qualification started on 14 July 2021 and it concluded on 29 May 2022. The winner of the cup would normally win entry into the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League; however, on 28 February 2022, Russian football clubs and national teams were suspended from FIFA & UEFA competitions until further notice, which would prevent any Russian club from participating in the competition unless the suspension was lifted.
