2021–22 Russian Cup
The 2021–22 Russian Cup was the 29th season of the Russian football knockout tournament since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The competition qualification started on 14 July 2021 and it concluded on 29 May 2022. The winner of the cup would normally win entry into the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League; however, on 28 February 2022, Russian football clubs and national teams were suspended from FIFA & UEFA competitions until further notice, which would prevent any Russian club from participating in the competition unless the suspension was lifted. Round dates The schedule of the competition is as follows. Novotroitsk (russian: Новотро́ицк) is a town in Orenburg Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of and along the Ural River, from Orenburg, on the border with Kazakhstan. FC Znamya Truda Orekhovo-Zuyevo
Znamya Truda is a Russian football club from Orekhovo-Zuevo, Moscow Oblast. The club is most noted because they are the oldest now-playing club in Russia, founded in 1909. They currently play in the FNL 2. The club's finest hour came in 1962 when they reached the final of the USSR Cup. History The club was founded in the village of Orekhovo which was to join with Zuevo and Nikolskoye to form Orekhovo-Zuyevo in 1917. In the 2017–18 season, Znamya Truda finished last in its group, losing 24 matches out of 26. Petrovsky Stadium
The Petrovsky Stadium (russian: стадион «Петровский») is on a sports complex that consists of a number of buildings, the stadium is used mostly for football and also for athletics. The Grand Sport Arena of the Petrovsky Sport Complex was the home of FC Zenit and FC Tosno. The complex also contains another football stadium, Minor Sport Arena (MSA). MSA of Petrovsky in 2022 is used by several teams that compete in lower professional leagues: FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg and FC Zenit-2 Saint Petersburg (selected matches). The capacity of MSA is 2835. The whole complex is located on the Petrograd side in central St. Petersburg on Petrovsky Island; an island in the Malaya Neva River connected to the adjacent Petrogradsky islands through Zhdanovsky bridge. FC Chita is a Russian association football club based in Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai, Chita. The club was founded in 1984 as a result of reorganization of FC Lokomotiv Chita which was excluded from the Russian First Division, First Division. FC Dynamo Saint Petersburg is a Russian football club from Saint Petersburg, in Northwest Russia. Founded in 1922, the club was one of the oldest in the city. It plays in the third-tier Russian Football National League 2. They were a regular in the Soviet Top League until relegation in 1963.
