Samuel Fröler
Per Samuel Fröler (born 24 March 1957) is a Swedish actor. His break-through was in the TV series Tre Kärlekar in 1989. He played the protagonist in the drama series ''Skärgårdsdoktorn'', and has also acted in several films. At the 28th Guldbagge Awards he was nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in ''The Best Intentions''. Fröler did the voice of Shrek when ''Shrek 2'' was dubbed into Swedish. He also had a part in the American film ''Octane'' in 2003. Nybro Municipality
Nybro Municipality (''Nybro kommun'') is a municipality in Kalmar County, south-eastern Sweden, with its seat in the town Nybro. The amalgamation of the ''City of Nybro'' (instituted in 1932) with its surrounding municipalities took place in 1969. The municipality was inhabited by a few hundred people until the railways came in the late 19th century, and the town Nybro was in its location between Kalmar on the east coast and Gothenburg on the west coast; later also on the railway from Kalmar and Malmö in the south-west. Until then Nybro mostly consisted of minor industries, including a match factory, marked by its traditionally Småland forest nature, largely unsuitable for agriculture. ''Skärgårdsdoktorn'' is a Swedish television series produced by SVT Drama. The series ran from 1997 to 2000 and a total of 18 episodes were produced. In English, the title could be translated as ''The archipelago doctor'', and it came to be one of the most popular Swedish TV series of the 1990s. With an average viewership of approximately 2.5 million it is considered one of the greatest successes of SVT Drama. Created by Lars Bill Lundholm and Gunilla Linn Persson, the first 8 episodes were directed by Martin Asphaug. The series was also broadcast in Norway, Finland and Denmark. In May 2009, plans to produce a cinema feature film of ''Skärgårdsdoktorn'' were announced. The Best Intentions
''The Best Intentions'' ( sv, Den goda viljan) is a 1992 Swedish drama film directed by Bille August and written by Ingmar Bergman. It is semi-autobiographical, telling the story of the complex relationship between Bergman's parents, Erik Bergman and Karin Åkerblom, who are renamed Henrik and Anna in the film but retain their true surnames. The film documents the courtship and the difficult early years of their marriage, until the point when Anna becomes pregnant with their second son, who corresponds to Ingmar himself. Samuel Fröler and Pernilla August played Henrik and Anna, respectively. Ingmar Bergman wrote the screenplay based on scattered notes and conversations with his parents in their later years. Dubbing (re-recording and mixing) is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production, often in concert with sound design, in which additional or supplementary recordings are lip-synced and "mixed" with original production sound to create the finished soundtrack. The process usually takes place on a dub stage. After sound editors edit and prepare all the necessary tracks—dialogue, automated dialogue replacement (ADR), effects, Foley, and music—the dubbing mixers proceed to balance all of the elements and record the finished soundtrack. The Swedish Film Institute ( sv, Svenska Filminstitutet) was founded in 1963 to support and develop the Swedish film industry. The institute is housed in the ''Filmhuset'' building located in Gärdet, Östermalm in Stockholm. The building, completed in 1970, was designed by architect Peter Celsing. Function The Swedish Film Institute supports Swedish filmmaking and allocates grants for production, distribution and public showing of Swedish films in Sweden.
