Sameradion
Sameradion is the Sámi languages radio department of Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Radio (SR). Sameradion provides news, current affairs, cultural, sports, entertainment, and children’s programming for Sámi people, Sámi across Sweden. Broadcast operations Sameradion broadcasts weekdays and Sundays on FM and DAB via Sveriges Radio P2, along with short twice-weekly broadcasts on Sveriges Radio P4, P4 Jämtland and around the clock online via SR Sápmi. SR Sápmi also carries Sámi music, youth radio, sports, and public events. The channel broadcasts primarily in Northern Sami language, Northern Sámi, but also broadcasts regularly in Lule Sami language, Lule and Southern Sami language, Southern Sámi. NRK Sápmi
NRK Sápmi (previously NRK Sámi Radio) is a unit of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) that streams news and other programs in the Sami language for broadcast to the Sami people of Norway via radio, television, and internet. Regular radio news programs in Sami began in 1946, presented from Tromsø by the teacher Kathrine Johnsen (1917–2002), remembered today as "Sami Radio's Mother". In 1976, NRK Sámi Radio moved to Kárášjohka (Karasjok), and in 1984 to its current headquarters (also in Kárášjohka). NRK Sápmi has about 17 journalists based in Deatnu (Tana), Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino), Olmmaivaggi in Gáivuotna, Tromsø, Skånland, Tysfjord, Snåsa, and Oslo. Sveriges Radio AB (, "Sweden's Radio") is Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcaster. Sveriges Radio is a public limited company, owned by an independent foundation, previously funded through a licensing fee, the level of which is decided by the Swedish Riksdag. Sveriges Radio P2
P2 (''pe två'') is one of the four main radio channels operated by Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcasting organization Sveriges Radio (SR). It broadcasts music (principally classical music and jazz) and also carries educational programming as well as programmes in minority languages. P2 was officially similar and related to BBC Radio 3. Kiruna
